FLORIDA - A toddler of two years is alleged to have shot and killed his mother with a loaded gun lying on the floor. Troy Bailey brandishing a pistol Glock 9-millimeter size in the direction of his mother, Julia Bennett (33), after taking it off the floor. It is estimated, the baby is thought the gun was a toy gun. The former girlfriend said she saw victims of horrible scene when his son accidentally pull the trigger and shot his mother.
Troy Bailey Sr., admitted that he had put a pistol without a watch during a visit to his ex-girlfriend's house in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bailey Sr., who had pocketed senjat ownership permission, said her son took its weapon and pointed it at Bennett, then pulled the trigger.
Police said Bennett, who worked as a nurse, was killed by one shot. However, Bailey Sr. is not included in the list of suspect or person of interest in the investigation.
Meanwhile, the Bennet family members feel no sense of a two-year olds can pull the trigger. The neighbors watched how the children of two-year police checked a few moments after the shooting.
"They took the boy to a nearby tree, then wiped his mouth and check if there is powder gun in his hand," said one neighbor, Naomi Williams, as quoted by the Telegraph on Monday (4/25/2011).
Social workers took the child to be treated, but she returned to her mother's family while the investigation continues. The whole family is still trying to understand what was going on while continuing to soothe the child who was still calling her mother.
