May Day On JAKARTA - National Labour Day or May Day is usually called is celebrated on one May, but various events with the theme of supporting the welfare of workers has been going on since today, Friday (04/29/2011).
As released by the Social Security Action Committee For the People and Workers (KAJS), on April 29, KAJS held a seminar all the people demanded social security for all followed by a press conference calling for social security demands struggle to win the office of Indonesian Manpower Foundation (YTKI).
After that, late afternoon in the courtyard of PT Olympic, Nusantara Bonded Zone, Cakung, Presidium KAJS region and a thousand workers will hold a public pulpit for social security.
On the day of one May, about hundred thousand workers would take action on workers of the world at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout proceed in front of the State Palace. In this action the various demands of the workers on may day will be delivered of them, demanding the implementation of national social security process.
On May five, workers will be joined by thousand student activists in order to celebrate the national schooling. Action will be conducted in front of the Presidential Palace since morning.
Labor action won't cease, on Tuesday, May five, twenty-workers will come to office of the Ministry of Finance and the State Palace in order to celebrate the workers of the world.
